Spanish as a Foreign Language

International House San Isidro organises courses for people who come to learn the language in Argentina. These courses can be Intensive or Extended and provide accommodation and social programmes for those students who should require this service.

The courses are run by teachers who hold an IHC Spanish (International House Certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language), and are organised in six levels.

The material used is based on modern methodologies in language learning, with emphasis on communication and interaction. Students are placed in their level after taking a placement test, and must attend 80% of the course and pass oral and written exams to obtain an International House Certificate

You can also train to sit for the DELE exam Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera.

All fees include class material, final exam and certificate.

Spanish as a Foreign Business Language

Living and working in a foreign country can be much more enjoyable with the help that International House can offer.  

Being a multinational, we understand the hardships, frustrations and disappointments another culture and language can present.

International House San Isidro offers programmes designed to help foreign businessmen and their families overcome the language barrier and in turn, open doors to a social life in Argentina.

International House also offers special In-Company Courses for firms who have foreign employees who need to acquire the Spanish language.

These courses can be one-to-one or in groups.

We also offer courses for travellers who need the basic language to get around with.
